I'm currently in the middle of completing my trainer's course for Minor Hockey. I initially didn't want anything to do with the hockey team, I just wanted to be a parent this year, but with Maxim's team lacking in parental support in stepping up in the coaching field, so since I do not want to be a manager, I decided to take on the role of the trainer for his team.
Since he is in such a young division it isn't a huge deal with my duties. I basically just have to be at any games and tournaments and make sure I am able to get on the ice/bench area if any of the children get hurt. I have to take this 6-ish hour long course and really it's rather boring. Apparently this course used to be an in-class course but it's now offered online. I'm almost done that course, I currently have another window open and I am listening to the course as I write this.
I have to work tomorrow in housekeeping from 8-4, and then I have a PTA meeting at 6pm, then I have to come home and finish getting ready for my brother's big day on the weekend.
Back to paying more attention to the course. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Hectic Beyond Belief
Who knew life would get even more busy when Cooper entered Junior Kindergarten (Jardin). Since Max entered grade 1, and Coop started school, I decided it was time to get part-time employment. At the hospital where I currently work, I'm part of a union, so jobs need to get posted internally before they hire outside the facility. I ended up getting the casual housekeeping aid job, and then I also got hired as a casual employee of the school board, and this is all on top of being on Maxim's school PTA, and the trainer for Maxim's hockey team. I will one day get some time to myself, but for now I need to keep myself busy before I go crazy.
School over all is going great for the boys. Maxim struggled a little bit at the beginning of the year. The transition from Senior Kindergarten over to a Grade1-3 split class seemed to prove to be difficult, but the last couple of weeks he has really improved. Every week they bring home spelling tests, and they have the week to practise them, just this last two week, the change in his accomplishments have went above and beyond what I expected him to do only 7 weeks into the school year. For his hockey team, I bumped him up a division. He was originally suppose to start with his brother, but because he is already in a class with most of the kids on his team, I decided it be a-okay to move him up. The ice here in the North goes in the week after Halloween and I cannot wait!
Cooper, oh Cooper, Cooper Cooper. What is there to say about Cooper's first 7 or so weeks of school. Shawn and I decided to put him in French school, and he is doing great! He doesn't speak any at home, rather then his numbers, but they say at school he repeats and understands great! We're having some problems with him acting out at school, throwing temper tantrums and hitting other kids. He always re-assures me every morning that he will not be hitting at school today, and the last couple of days have been somewhat okay. Last week another child and him mooned some kids, I honestly was at a loss for words when that happened.
My brother gets married in 8 days! I'll be for sure posting some pictures of that wedding :)

Sixteen Months, Five Days
It took my husband and I over a year to get pregnant with our first child. We weren't by any means, "actively" trying, but on the other side of things, we weren't preventing ourselves from becoming parents either.
Our first born son, came 9 days before the original due date I was given, but just 2 days before second due date. Maxim was born on December 13th, 2009 at 3:56am. It was love at first sight. I remember during delivery the nurses said that we had a little red head on our hands, both my husband and I looked at each other in panic because not only of the red head tempers, but neither of our families had red hair in it's genetics. When he came out and I seen his round pudgy face, he had no red hair, but peach fuzz blonde, with big blue eyes, just like his momma.
Fast forward seven months....
Since it took us so long to conceive Maxim, and because of my sporadic periods, we decided to start trying at the end of July to become pregnant again. What we didn't expect was to get pregnant so quick.
Our second son came 3 days before his due date. Cooper was born on April 19th, 2011 at 1:24pm. Like the first time, it was love at first sight. The delivery with Coop was completely different then it was with Maxim. The entire labour and delivery process at the hospital only lasted 1hr 4mins and I had another bouncing baby boy. Coop came out looking almost completely opposite then his big brother. Coop had hair, and it was dark, his face wasn't as round the only similarity was they both had big blue eyes.
All it took was 16 months and 5 days to complete our family and go from a family of two, to a family of four.
